14、professor at Stanford University to discuss pulmonary arterial hypertension. I think maybe the right way to start then is just if you can tell us a little bit about your practice, kind of the number of patients youre treating and kind of typically how you think about managing a patient, when you typ
15、ically see them, what course (over) the disease and how do you typically kind of manage those patients on presentation? Vinicio de Jesus Perez: Well good morning everyone. As a matter of introduction, I am an associate professor of medicine at Stanford University, the (owner) hypertension center in
16、the United States. We oversee the diagnosis and care of over 2,000 patients with all forms of pulmonary hypertension. The great majority of patients that we see, (say) large referral center are group one pulmonary hypertensions, also known as pulmonary arterial hypertension. Part of our practice of course is to carry out the research we have ongoing clinical research projects in collaboration with pharmaceuticals, also federal funded projects looking at medications as well as mechanisms of (dise
